 | When our good friends at Benefit Cosmetics wanted to show us the three items we needed this season to glam up our makeup for the holidays, we jumped at the chance to get a demonstration. Fellow beauty writer Mari Tzikas and I took the plunge into a look in which there was no return. Seriously, being girls who struggle to achieve the best "no makeup" makeup look, we had forgotten how fun getting glammed up could be. From office chic to party diva, all it took was a dot here and a swipe there (on top of our usual eyeliner and mascara) for instant holiday glamour. It was easy as saying, "We'll take two!" Here, check out our glitzy results. – Joannie McIntyre

To even out my skintone and add a little glow, Arianne whipped out her handy dandy Justine Case—a kit complete with mini versions of Benetint lip and cheek color, Some Kind-A Gorgeous foundation, Eyecon eye brightener, and California Kissin' gloss. With five steps done with just one kit, we jumped ahead to my favorite part, Miss Popularity—a white, brightening powder. She dabbed and blended it into the inner wells of my eyes and brow bones for a show girl look that really made my eyes pop. It was intense at first, but looked amazing hours later after it blended into my skin. She finished with Her Glossiness V.I.P Lip Gloss in a gorgeous berry shade called "Who Does Your Work." |

When we heard about You Rebel Lite SPF 15, we thought it would be perfect for Mari's fair yet glowing complexion. Arianne applied it with a sponge to get that lightly bronzed look going, then multi-tasked with 10, a gorgeous pink and brown box-o-powder. She did the sexy sweep across her cheeks (pink on top, brown on the bottom) then used the same combo on her eyelids (pink up top on the brow bones, brown below on the lids) as a base. For the last step, she played up Mari's gorgeous pout with Cupid's Bow Lovely Lip Shaping Set—a kit that transforms your lips to collagen treatment proportions—before finishing with a gloss. |
