CONTOURING MAGIC:
HOW TO CONTOUR YOUR ROUND-SHAPED FACE

Round-shaped faces generally have an equal length and width. Contour products are used to illuminate the center of the face while slimming it on the sides. Transform your cheekbones in a few simple swipes.

STEP ONE
Highlight the high points of your face. For a round-shaped face, draw an X in the center of your forehead and bring the line down the nose. Create another X on your chin and follow with two V's under your eyes.

STEP TWO
Choose a contour color that's not warm or shimmery. Use the angled side of your brush to apply your contour into the hollows of your cheeks. Then contour under the jaw, on the outside of the forehead, and down the sides of the nose.

STEP THREE
First blend your highlighter with a small brush using rolling motions so the product stays in place. Then use a bigger brush to blend your contour. Blend your cheek contour down your jawline and your forehead contour into your hairline.

STEP FOUR
Finish with a translucent powder. Use a pressing motion so you don't sweep any of your makeup away. Make sure you hit your T-zone and under your eyes, as those spots tend to get the oiliest.
