in love...so good...I can't haven't seen any improvements regarding firming or brightening, and in the ingredients I don't see any superstars (AHA, retinol, etc)....I do only give it 4 stars though, because as a summer moisturizer it's great, but I do feel I need to add a sleeping mask a few days a week during the winter to feel adequately hydrated.
Which skin type is it good for?
What it is:
A moisturizer that rescues dry, dull skin while delivering a steady dose of barrier moisture.
- Loss of firmness and elasticity
- Fine lines and wrinkles
If you want to know more…
This all-purpose rescue cream, whipped into an airy blend of six rare African oils, recovers and locks in intense moisture for hours after application. Plantain extract helps visibly brighten skin, while sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer easily soaks in and releases long-lasting hydration. In addition, antioxidant-rich fermented green tea helps combat signs of aging and relieves irritation from environmental stressors. Loaded with omega acids, Lala Retro™ is a silky, dream come true for tired, dehydrated, dry skin.
What else you need to know:
Formulated at an ideal (and skin-friendly) pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro™ has the luxurious texture of a rich face cream, without feeling suffocating or heavy.
100 percent free of essential oils, silicones, and fragrance.
Drunk Elephant is committed to using only ingredients that either directly benefit the skin’s health or support the integrity and effectiveness of our formulations. They never take into account an ingredient’s synthetic or natural status, but instead choose based on its biocompatibility. You won’t find what they call the "Suspicious 6" in their products (essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical screens, fragrance/dyes, and SLS,) making them, in their opinion, appropriate for all skin. They believe that these six ubiquitous ingredients are at the root of almost every skin issue we see. When formulating the products, they focus on pH levels and safety, and always making sure that the active ingredients are at efficacious levels. This is the Drunk Elephant difference.
Drunk Elephant is a supporter of IEF (International Elephant Foundation) and is cruelty-free.
