This works as promised for me, it did not leave any residues. It did a decent job removing my makeup, the texture is definitely thicker than other cleansing balm but I got no issues washing it off with water. it’s a cleansing balm, it’s supposed to remove your makeup on dry skin, then wash with water AND then use a regular cleanser after...Love this for dry skin....Takes makeup off well and love the glow and softness it gives my dry skin.

I'm a fan of Jack Black products since this past summer.
