Since 2019, Chantecaille has sponsored the planting of 145,000 indigenous trees in Kenya, on the boundaries of two National Parks that Sheldrick Wildlife Trust protects and manages. Did you know? One tree can filter 36,000 gallons of water per year. One acre of new forest stores 2.5 tons of carbon per year. One tree produces enough oxygen for a family of four per year. This planting project benefits wildlife, too, and provides employment for local communities.
