What Else You Need to Know: Lion Guardians is a conservation organization dedicated to finding and enacting long-term solutions for people and lions to coexist. Founded in 2006, the organization began with five Guardians in one small area within the Amboseli-Tsavo ecosystem in Kenya. Currently, their projects are successfully running in several countries and in the core area of Amboseli, with operations span over close to a million acres. CHANTECAILLE’s Fall 2026 collection will support the purchase of technology which aids Lion Guardians in their work tracking, monitoring, and identifying lions in the wild. Funding will help provide cameras for lion identification, thermal drones for locating lions, and monitoring remote areas, field phones, and solar charging systems for Guardians working in the bush. Plus, fuel and vehicle support that allow teams to safely track and document lions across vast community landscapes.
