I would say yes  but not alone. It will not repair  just protect. Broken hair really should get cut off  and then use it in conjunction with the  4 Shampoo   5 conditioner  and weekly use of a  3 treatment for repair. This combo fixed my hair but it took time  think at least 3 months of use and then continued use with  3 one to two times a month.
