Scent Type: Fresh Citrus & Fruits
Key Notes: Italian Bergamot, Orange Flower, Lavender
Fragrance Description: Neroli Portofino conjures cool breezes, sparkling water, and lush foliage through crisp citrus oils, floral notes, and amber undertones. Splashy yet substantive, this perfume is a vibrant reinvention of a classic eau de cologne. It‘s TOM FORD‘s homage to the Italian Riviera.
About the Bottle: Neroli Portofino is contained in a clear turquoise bottle. Capped with a gold-tone, metal inset, the 50 mL flacon has the sleek, architectural look of a chess piece, adding monumental beauty to any dressing table or grooming area.
About the Fragrance: "Portofino has always been a magical place for me. There are few cities in the world that evoke such strong emotions and memories. The sounds, sights, and smells of the city are so poignant. I tried to capture this in Neroli Portofino."Tom Ford
-Fragrance is intensified by the warmth of your own body. Apply in the creases of your knees and elbows for a longer-lasting, stronger scent.
-After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly.
-If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand-washing, as this tends to rinse off the scent.
-Replace fragrance after 12 months. Expired perfumes more than a year old lose the integrity of the original scent.
Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum?:
The difference lies in the volume of perfume oil. While EDT contains five to nine percent, EDP contains more, usually eight to 14 percent. EDPs, therefore, last longer and smell more intense.
