Mandarin, Neroli, Amber
CLEAN is honored to support the farmers of southern Italy and aid their commitment to the natural extraction of their exquisite bergamot oil through eco-conscious education. Their luxurious sandalwood hails from Sri Lanka, where locals with an ancestral understanding of the tree’s properties use ecologically sound harvesting practices to extract the precious oil inside.
What else you need to know:
Crafted with sustainable notes of bergamot oil. Bergamot is a small, roughly pear-shaped citrus fruit; a cross between a sour orange and citron or lemon bergamot is mostly limited to the Ioanion, coastal region of the Province of Reggio Calabria, South Italy. It is also cultivated in Ivory Coast, Argentina, and Brazil. Its scent is fruity-sweet with mild spicy note.
Mandarin is cultivated in all countries of the Mediterranean region, as well as in tropical and sub-tropical parts of the world. Mandarins are much sweeter than their other citrusy relatives, but their flavor varies and may range from very sweet to almost spicy and tart. Mandarins are distinguished by their bright orange skin that peels off easily, and fleshy inner segments full of sugary fruit juice. The aroma is very sweet, fruity and citrusy with a light floral undertone.
