Skin’s pH levels have a direct correlation to how well your skin can fight off bacteria and environmental aggression. Think of it like when you’re eating well and exercising, your body is more adept at fighting off the occasional cold. Skin’s pH scale is one to 14, with one being the most acidic and 14 the most alkaline. The level at which skin is healthiest and most ready to fight off stress, free radicals, and pollution is a slightly acidic 5.5. Using The Balance daily restores skin to this ideal level creating the perfect palette for your makeup (AM routine) and is the first step in your GloPRO® routine (PM), gently removing both face and eye makeup. The Balance’s gel formulation ensures actives can work better, instead of harder. Gentle, effective cleansers shouldn’t foam, and The Balance is able to strip makeup and impurities off of skin while maintaining the critical acid mantle (meaning, skin won’t feel tight and dry after use). Anti-inflammatory properties found in ginger root help keep skin happy and hydrated so that your serums and moisturizers can work more effectively. Salicylic acid contained in the oat kernel extract keeps skin calm and blemish free, making this cleanser ideal for all skin types.

The Balance is formulated without formaldehyde, mineral oil, synthetic dyes, petrolatum, silicone, BHT, and BHA.

Suggested Usage:
-Use cleanser, morning and night.
-Apply to dampened skin and gently massage over face.
-Rinse face thoroughly with warm water, pat dry.
-Follow immediately with The Ultimate Hydrating Vitamin C Facial Moisturizer in the AM (sold separately) or The Nightly Retinol + Peptide Anti-Aging Serum and The Quench Quadralipid Rapid Recovery Facial Moisturizer in the PM (both sold separately).
