Use It With
Scent Type: Fresh Citrus & Woods
Key Notes: Apple, Pear, Magnolia
Fragrance Description: Notes of apple, pear, and magnolia define this light and airy perfume, creating a garden of feasting and joyfulness where apple trees overhang wild grasses.
About the Fragrance: Un Jardin sur le Toit is a lively, edgy novella. This fragrance describes a secret, hanging garden perched on the rooftop of the HERMÈS building at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in the heart of Paris.
"A garden that answers to no one, a cheerful garden watered with light."Jean-Claude Ellena
-Fragrance is intensified by the warmth of your own body. Apply in the creases of your knees and elbows for a longer-lasting, stronger scent.
-After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly.
-If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand-washing, as this tends to rinse off the scent.
-Replace fragrance after 12 months. Expired perfumes more than a year old lose the integrity of the original scent.
Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum?:
The difference lies in the volume of perfume oil. While EDT contains five to nine percent, EDP contains more, usually eight to 14 percent. EDPs, therefore, last longer and smell more intense.
Perfume has been a part of the brand’s history since the 1930s. In the library of Hermès perfumes, every creation tells a story, opens up an imaginary world. Hermès demonstrates through its perfumes the excellence of its craftsmanship, its artistry, and its creative freedom.
