I also leave it on problem spots, such acne, to let the witch hazel take care of the inflammation. very good . the best glycolic acid product i've ever used . compared to most other products with this ingredient , it is quite gentle . it's effective without being unnecessarily harsh . excellent formulation ....Thought it would be a good gentle exfoliator (this was before I had knowledge of different AHAs) and glycolic acid isn't it for those with sensitive skin. Also the witch hazel irritates the skin even more! I also notice no difference.

This toner has completely resolved my dry patches and while I can see people being upset about a formula change, let's appreciate what we do have and that's a quality product that IS safe for sensitive skin. For reference, I have rosacea and and extremely sensitive skin.. and the witch hazel in this formula doesn't bother me at all! ...If you have a sensitivity to witch hazel, obviously don't use it, but otherwise, I think it follows the mantra, "Do No Harm."
