Pick a shade based on your skin tone. 
Is your skin Fair/Light, Medium, Tan/Medium-Deep, or Deep?

Shade Parfait 1 is the lightest and Shade Parfait 4 is the darkest.

And/Or, use the Brand's Product Photos of the models and see which model has a skin tone similar to yours...then pick that same shade.

You can also look at the review photos to see the shades in real life and to see which shade would match your skin tone the best.

If you are in between shades, go with the Lighter shade Palette because the Palette comes with the actual shade and also a slightly darker shade to add dimension.

Plus, you have 30 days from the Date Of Purchase to return/exchange it.
