Loved this enzyme body scrub, it did what it says. Used it for couple times and my skin felt very smooth after and took mostly all the dead skin and left my skin glowing...I didn't realize how much my skin need an extra exfoliant. Unfortunately I can't use enzyme products on my face for some reason. Any product with enzymes always breaks me out. ...Even though this concept goes against the Western idea of AHA and BHA exfoliants ... this Rice Enzyme powder has been MORE effective, gentle, and soothing than any exfoliant product I have used.

I think it may have to do with the enzymes breaking down the bacteria and odors. It’s gentle enough that it doesn’t cause any irritation either from the enzymes or the sugar (the sugar dissolves rather quickly). ...I was sent this product by influenster to review and I will say, though I prefer chemical exfoliants to physical ones, this one is similar to the tatcha rice wash in how fine the exfoliant is.
