I liked the tone of black. A true black not gray. I think it’s a great mascara for a night out but not all day wear....Decent lengthening mascara...The instructions are also minuscule to read and impossible if you’ve got mono-vision (one eye near, one eye far) like me. Having dark grey on a black background isn’t good either for those with vision issues.

its ok i guess. the primer definitely makes your mascara last and stay black (my black mascara usually fades to a grey for some reason?) ...Some reviewers report that the white primer makes mascara turn gray; this does not happen to me as I follow directions and allow this primer to dry before applying mascara.
