The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars and the main reason of why I am contemplating returning it is because the clamp is very tight and it is somewhat difficult to smoothly roll hair through it, as compared to my previous curling irons....I will say that the clamp is on the stronger side, but once you've got used to maneuvering it I think its easier than other curling irons.
