I will say when I began introducing this product in my routine, it did dry out my face a bit (& I’ve been using a chemical exfoliant for about 4 years now). I only use twice a week, and wouldn’t recommend more than that with a physical exfoliant. I have combo skin...deep cleans and gentle...I use it two to three times a week, and it's so gentle it doesn't strip your skin or cause any redness or irritation. you can feel the beads scrubbing and cleaning your pores, but they dont feel abrasive. I love this scrub, and definitely recommend it.

I also have sensitive skin and this has some powerful stuff in it so I only use it about 3 times a week or else it is too drying, which makes sense as it is an exfoliant and you do not want to overdo it. Anyways, I found this really makes my skin feel clean, there is an instant brightening effect as soon as I wash it off, and if you use it regularly/consistently you will find it does help more than most products that claim to fade spots do!...It goes on smooth and yet somehow is also a great exfoliant. I have sensitive skin, but this didn't have adverse effects or dry out my skin.
