Just use at your roots for new growth, use a light touch especially with the darker colors and blend well with the brush. Great product for between salon visits!...It's fairly soft, so use a light touch, and blend with the brush side. My all time fav root cover is Color Wow, but this works better on some of my stubborn grays.
