1. What is a Beauty Insider Challenge?

A Beauty Insider Challenge is a new way for Beauty Insider members to explore all Sephora has to offer. Once Beauty Insider members join available Beauty Insider Challenges, they will be rewarded as they complete the tasks within the Beauty Insider Challenges.

2. How do I participate?

To participate in Beauty Insider Challenges, you need to be a Beauty Insider loyalty member and then opt in to the Challenge(s) you wish to participate in.

You’ll receive points for completing each task in a Challenge, and if you complete all the tasks, you’ll receive an extra 100 points. Your points will be rewarded within 24 hours of completing the tasks.

If the Challenge does not specify, you can complete any task(s) in any order. In order for Sephora to reward you, please be sure to be signed in to your Beauty Insider account on the platform you are shopping on: sephora.com, sephora.ca, and the Sephora app; for in-store shopping, be sure to provide your Beauty Insider details to the cashier at the Sephora US or Sephora Canada store. The Beauty Insider Challenge program is only available at Sephora US and Sephora Canada stores, on sephora.com, on sephora.ca, and on the Sephora app within the US and Canada. Beauty Insider Challenges are not eligible from kohls.com or Sephora at Kohl’s retails stores.

3. Can I participate in more than one Beauty Insider Challenge?

Yes! You may join as many active Beauty Insider Challenges as are available to you. You can visit the Beauty Insider Challenges page or your Beauty Insider Summary page online to find out which Beauty Insider Challenges are available.

4. How long do I have to complete a Beauty Insider Challenge?

Each Beauty Insider Challenge will specify when it concludes. You can visit the Beauty Insider Challenges page to find out more.

5. Can I complete the same Beauty Insider Challenge more than once?

No—once you have joined a Beauty Insider Challenge, you can only complete it once. We do have annual versions of Challenges, so you may see the same name of a challenge, but the tasks will be different each year.

6. When will I receive my Beauty Insider points in my account?

Beauty Insider points will appear in your account within 24 hours of the completion of a task. The task description will appear in the pop-up modal and include the end date of the Challenge. Your points may be in ‘Points Pending’ status within the first 24 hours after you complete a task and/or Challenge.

7. I completed the Beauty Insider Challenge but I don’t see my points!

Your points will appear in your Beauty Insider Summary. Please make sure you are signed in to your Beauty Insider account and make sure you have joined the Beauty Insider Challenges before completing the tasks. For online shopping, be sure that you are signed in to your Beauty Insider account on sephora.com, sephora.ca, or the Sephora app; for in-store shopping, please be sure to provide your Beauty Insider details to the cashier at the Sephora US or Sephora Canada store. If your points do not appear in your Beauty Insider Summary account page after 24 hours from when you completed the tasks, please contact Sephora Client Services for assistance.

8. I recently completed an action before joining the Beauty Insider Challenge. Am I eligible for Beauty Insider points?

No, you must be opted into the Beauty Insider Challenge before you complete a task in order to be eligible to receive Beauty Insider points. Please re-complete the task once you have opted into the Beauty Insider Challenge to receive points.

9. What can I use my points for? How do I redeem them?

You can redeem your points in many ways:

  • Redeem for Beauty Insider Cash

    • Members can redeem 500 points for $10 off a purchase once per transaction on qualifying purchases. Purchases must be $10 or greater. Beauty Insider Cash can be redeemed at checkout, both in store and online at Sephora and Sephora at Kohl’s stores. If you forget to select Beauty Insider Cash at checkout, you will have an additional opportunity when finalizing your payment method.

  • Through our Beauty Insider Rewards Bazaar, you can redeem your points online for samples, charity donations, Sephora-branded items, brand items, and experiences, and in store for samples.

    • Once you have logged in to your online Beauty Insider account, you will be able to add a reward to your online basket from the Rewards Bazaar or during the checkout process. When shopping in store, you will see the Rewards Bazaar at the registers when you check out. Rewards Bazaar offers are for a limited time, while supplies last, and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Quantities of each reward are limited and client must be a registered Beauty Insider in order to redeem points for Rewards Bazaar offers. Rewards can only be redeemed in store or shipped to addresses in the US or Canada. Beauty Insider members may only redeem points for one of each reward per transaction and must have the sufficient number of Beauty Insider points in their point balance. Points will be deducted at time of redemption.

10. Where can I see the total points I’ve earned from Beauty Insider Challenges?

You can visit the Beauty Insider Challenges page to see your status and track your progress. Please ensure you are signed in to your Beauty Insider account.

12. Is the $25 minimum spend before or after taxes and discounts?

The $25 minimum spend requirements is before all taxes and same day delivery fees and after discounts, BI Cash, Rouge Rewards, and Credit Card Rewards have been applied.

13. The product(s) I purchased was not associated with the category/ ‘world’ I expected, and I completed a task I did not intend to. What should I do?

If you are not completely satisfied with a Sephora purchase for any reason, Sephora welcomes you to return the product(s) for a full refund to your original method of payment if returned within 30 days of purchase, in most cases. Returns that are made from 31-60 days after purchase are eligible for online credit (if returned by mail) or store credit (if returned in store). In order to complete the return, you must have a proof of purchase.

14. I am having issues access Beauty Insider Challenges on my Sephora App. What should I do?

Please check that you have the most recent version of the Sephora app. You can update to the most recent version of the Sephora app by visiting your app store, search for ‘Sephora’, and reinstall the Sephora app. Optimizations are frequently made to the Sephora app to improve your experience. These optimizations may require an app update or app re-install.

15. How often will a new Beauty Insider Challenge happen

We will continue to post new Challenges in the future. To ensure you don’t miss a Beauty Insider Challenge launch, stay notified by opting in to receive notifications, emails, and/or SMS notifications .

16. How do I opt out of notifications for Beauty Insider Challenges?

You can adjust your notification preferences. Please note that if you would like to receive Challenge updates and hear about new Beauty Insider Challenges, you will need to opt back into these notifications.

17. I completed a shopping task for a Challenge but I returned my item. Will I be able to keep my points

• Yes, your points will remain in your account. • If the item that was part of the completion of a task is cancelled from your order, you will not be charged and you will not receive Beauty Insider points for that item. • Please note that Beauty Insider Points do expire. Please refer to the Beauty Insider Terms and Condition for further detail.

18. I no longer want to participate in Beauty Insider Challenges, what do I do?

You do not need to participate if you decide not to, and no further action is required. If you would like to stop receiving Beauty Insider Challenge notifications, you can adjust your notification preferences.
