Klarna is an alternate payment method that allows you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments.
To use Klarna to pay for your purchase on sephora.ca, add products you love to your basket and choose Klarna at checkout. Your purchase will be split into 4 equal payments. The first payment is due when your order is shipped. The remaining three payments will be automatically charged to your debit or credit card every two weeks.
If your basket is eligible for 4 interest-free payments with Klarna on sephora.ca, the option will be presented at checkout. After confirming your phone number, you’ll be sent an SMS message to confirm your account. You’ll then set up your payment method with Klarna and accept the terms of your payment plan.

Klarna currently accepts Mastercard or Visa credit or debit cards. Debit cards must have the Visa or Mastercard logo. Please note, prepaid cards are not accepted.

No. When you sign up for Klarna, they may perform a soft credit check. This will not impact your credit score or show up as a hard inquiry on your credit report.
If your order total changes for any reason, the payments will be adjusted accordingly.
You do not need to pay for goods that aren’t received, or goods that are received damaged, broken, or defective. Follow Klarna’s help instructions and select “Report a Problem” in your Klarna account to pause your payments until the issue is resolved. If you’re issued a refund or order cancellation, Klarna will send an adjusted statement and payment schedule. You can check the status of your payments any time via Klarna’s site or in your Klarna app.
Most authorizations are reversed within 24 hours, however this is ultimately up to your financial institution.
Klarna will send an email confirmation for all completed payments. You can also call or chat live with Klarna’s customer service agents 24/7 to confirm payment.
Yes. If you want to pay the next payment or full balance of your payment plan early, simply log into the Klarna app, go to the “All Orders” page, and select “Payment Options.”
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your purchase from the card that you entered at checkout. You can find out when your payments will be collected in the email that you received at the time of purchase or by logging into your Klarna account. If you need extra time to make a payment, simply log into the Klarna app, go to the “All Orders” page, and select “Payment Options,” then “Extend due date.”If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will try again after seven days. If this payment also fails, Klarna will make another attempt after a further seven days (14 days after the date of the first attempt). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s Pay in Four product even if you have failed to pay on time.

If Sephora receives your new or gently used item within 30 days of purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to your Klarna account and the amount and length of your payment plan will be adjusted accordingly.
If Sephora receives your new or gently used item within 31–60 days of purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to an online credit that can be used at sephora.com but is not valid for use in Sephora stores. This credit will NOT be applied to your Klarna account and you MUST continue to make payments to Klarna per the original agreement.

If Sephora receives your new or gently used item within 30 days of purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to a Visa/Mastercard debit/credit card of your choice. This credit will NOT be applied to your Klarna account and you MUST continue to make payments to Klarna per the original agreement.

You will make your first payment at the time of purchase, with the remaining three payments deducted every two weeks from your chosen payment method. If you choose to make additional payments before your scheduled pay dates, you may do so through your Afterpay account. You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date if you choose to do so.
Afterpay is not available on purchases of gift cards. If you are purchasing gift cards along with Afterpay-eligible products, you will need to make two separate purchases.
Afterpay purchases follow our standard return policy. You can return your online Afterpay purchase in store or by mail for a refund. Please check that your return or exchange meets our return policy here. Afterpay will be notified of your return and will process the appropriate refunds. Afterpay will be notified once your refund is processed. Your payment plan will be automatically adjusted to reflect the new total order value starting with the last payment and working backward. In the case where a refund amount is larger than 25% of the total order, Afterpay will eliminate the fourth instalment payment and apply the remaining amount to your earlier payments.
Afterpay is only offered to our customers who have a Canada billing address, Canada shipping address, a Canada Visa, Mastercard (credit or debit card) or American Express and a Canada mobile phone number. Customers with international billing addresses, shipping addresses, and/or phone numbers will not be able to set up an account with Afterpay.
