Why does one use toner and is there an age range.

from what i learned its just to support other skincare products you put is it necessary? i wouldnt say so but if moisturizer is not enough I would add toner and slowly introduce other steps like serum. but again not necessary but can help with watever goal youre trying to achieve on what your skin needs.
