Sephora says this item is considered hazmat and will ship via Ground. What makes it a hazmat? Should I be spraying hazmat material on my skin?

most high alcohol content products (like perfume) are considered hazmat due to their natural flammability, and so cannot fly in large quantities. this is a very standard procedure for products like this, and totally safe for the skin when used as perfume!
