Why is this a water based primer and the matching foundation silicone? Genuinely wondering if these should be used together or not. I'm just confused and want to be sure before buying.

TikTok has everyone in a frenzy over this 🙄. 
You can definitely use a silicone product with a water based product. How it’s formulated to work has more to do with Its Ingres. Also there are so many different silicones so they all don’t react the same to water based products
