I've used it with stick and liquid foundation as well. If there's any downside to this yet, I haven't found it, but this is because the brush works well with my desired coverage (light to medium), skin type (combo with oily) and covers my problem areas (acne scars)....Best foundation brush...My absolutely favourite liquid foundation brush so far.
