If you take care of it, they can last years. I've had mine for over 3 years, and other than a little bit of fading around the handle, it's in perfect condition. I clean it after every use, and I wash it (with shampoo) whenever I wash my hair, and I make sure to leave it upside down to dry. This brush is great quality, so it can last a long time! I don't have any bristles missing or any tips missing off the top of the bristles. The only wear on it is fading around the handle, but nothing on the actual brush head.
