Does this lip gloss not go back into the tube?  After you twist it out of the tube, you can't twist it back so I wasted a tone of the gloss because of this issue.  Is mine defective?

Unfortunately,  it does not retract. You will waste product if too much lipstick is twisted out of the tube. Company should redesign this as it is a universal complain.
