What are your experiences with thinning fine hair? Does it weigh down the hair?

I have thinning fine hair and I use this product. It works well for me (my hair is wavy and fine and dry and prone to breakage). It provides some moisture and hold and shine. However I have to be careful to use sparingly and only from mid lengths to ends as my scalp is sensitive not sure to what exactly but perhaps the fragrance
