Why do people include a picture of the bottle and or box with their reviews? What is the point?

Because those are usually incentivized reviews and the company asks them to post that as a condition for receiving the product for free. There is usually bullet points they also need to mention in the actual review as well. Not always, but i find that is the pattern. I don’t usually buy a product based on incentivized reviews for that reason.
