I personally wouldn't put anything on my eyelashes before using it. There's no way to know what happens when argan oil is heated  and if it breaks down  you don't want those chemicals in your eyes. Keep your eyelashes healthy by removing mascara every time you use it before you go to bed  and use a primer before you apply mascara. I use an eyelash serum with peptides every night. As long as your eyes and eyelashes are healthy  using a heated eyelash curler won't hurt you.
