What it is: A limited-edition Airstrait in Plum and Copper with a complimentary presentation case—no hot plates and no heat damage for your routine, simplified.
Hair Texture: Straight, Wavy, Curly, and Coily
Hair Type: Fine, Medium, and Thick
Hair Concerns:
- Frizz
- Straightening and Smoothing
- Shine
What Else You Need to Know:
Features:
- Airflow is projected downwards at a 45° angle to create the tension needed to align hair for a smooth end style—with less damage and breakage.²
- Uses high-velocity airflow to straighten hair as it dries. Air is precisely heated and projected evenly through the tress as you style—with no heat damage.¹
- Glass bead thermistors, located in the machine arms, regulate airflow temperature up to 30 times per second to prevent heat damage and protect hair’s natural shine.
- Your machine senses when hair is between the arms and automatically drops to low airflow when it’s not—for quieter, more efficient styling.
- LCD screen features a high-definition color display that shows airflow and temperature settings for easy reference when styling.
- Lock feature allows you to slide the button to lock and unlock the arms of your machine. Use with the arms locked to gently pre-dry hair and create volume from the roots.
- Auto-pause occurs after three seconds of inactivity. Your machine will automatically pause to save energy. Simply move the machine to restart the airflow.
Key Controls:
- Two styling modes: Wet to Dry and Dry mode
- Three precise airflow speeds and heat settings in each mode
- Auto-pause after three seconds of inactivity
Includes:
- Non-slip heat mat
- Complimentary Presentation case that’s finished in black with an ash ginger stripe, cushioned with soft fabric and with a removable lid that is also a non-slip mat for your Airstrait.
Caveats:
¹When used in wet to dry mode.
²When used in wet to dry mode vs. hot plate straighteners which operate with extreme heat
³When used in wet to dry mode vs. unstyled, untreated hair
⁴Time vs. existing routine. Based on the responses of 250 US Airstrait owners after min. 30 days of use, surveyed by Dyson in August 2023. Actual time saved may vary depending on the individual’s hair and styling routine.
