While short and controllable, I find the brush hairs being so puffed and rounded makes it difficult to keep edges clean and even. The gentle directional brushing and controllable sharper edge of a lip brush, really makes a difference in comparison.

Long story short: it’d be okay if you have really good control, but I don’t recommend it as a substitute.
