What else you need to know:
The original multipurpose afterglow for eyes, lips, and cheeks. It all began in 1996 when Harper’s Bazaar tasked the most elite makeup artists in the industry with creating a beauty look that represented their vision as an Artist. Although it was a departure from the heavy opaque technique that was commonly used in editorials, François Nars wanted to create a look that would highlight beautiful, translucent skin using a single lipstick. He dabbed and blended a cool, plum brown lipstick onto model Carolyn Murphy’s eyes, lips and cheekssimple, seductive and sun-kissed. When customers began buying lipstick to use in a similar fashion, François was then inspired to invent The Multiple, a groundbreaking color stick that could be applied to eyes, cheeks, and lips to create a range of fresh, glowing effects. He pioneered modern multi-use cosmetics.
"For someone on the run, The Multiple is the best product to use. It has a very velvety and transparent textures that make you look great in under three minutes!"François Nars, Founder and Creative Director of NARS Cosmetics
"Since each of The Multiples are so transparent, it’s almost impossible to overdo it when you apply it. Use your fingertips, a sponge, or whatever you like. You can use on eyes, cheeks or lips. A look I love is to have The Multiple on lips with more dramatic, smoky eyes."François Nars, Founder and Creative Director of NARS Cosmetics
