Has anyone tried both Valentino buttery matte lipstick and Dior Addict shine lipstick? What is your preference? Both are highly rated, same price point, but Valentino won the Allure Best Of award, who rarely steer us wrong. Thanks in advance!

I bought Dior first and just purchased the Valentino set w/the most recent Sephora sale. I’m super obsessed w/Valentino. Although it isn’t as “stay proof” as Dior, it feels & looks so rich & velvety on your lips. It also wears very nicely. Dior, in my opinion, looks very “cheap” or “night out look”. Too much sparkle & I’m all about the sparkle. The formula is super drying. Again, I have them both, but I only bought one of Dior and purchased two of the same sets of the Valentino! The case it comes in can be used for so many things & you can switch out the colors & use the gold “sparkle shimmer” color as a topper for all of the colors at your liking. It’s perfect, in my opinion.
