I?m confused. It states this candle in the 4oz size can burn for 25 hrs, but this candle in 5.5oz states it can burn for 50hrs. Would it be 8oz for 50hrs? How can a little over one more ounce burn for double the time?? What am I missing??

A candle cannot burn down to nothing, there's always wax left when the wick is gone. The remainder amount is proportionately higher when the size of the vessel is smaller and the starting weight of the candle itself is less. The difference is especially noticeable in a very small candle like a 4 ounce.
