How long does it last on lips without eating?

Just tested this out on a week-long trip to Vegas: It lasted between each meal (about 4-5 hours apart, if I didn't sip on anything), and I just did a quick touch up with my finger at the table after the meal. The borders hold up so it's an easy dab with the finger to touch up as long as you have a napkin handy.
