The sample I received was universal/translucent. However there are shade you can pick from if you desire.So far, I tried it under my foundation an it looked great! I have over-active sebaceous glands. My skin is very oily and my pores are visible. My skin looked clear with the exception of my forehead pores. However they still looked a lot better than before I put it on!
