The people complaining didn't stick with this product long enough to comprehend the difference between these lip stains and all other stains on the market. And the difference is that I have only had to buy two of these in the past 5 years. ...i'm typically a minimum makeup + lipgloss gal. lipstick always look weird on me but i've been curious about lip stains for awhile. now, i knew this rosewood shade would be darker than the lipgloss i'm used to, but when i put it on i was *shocked* at how dark yet vibrant it was. i immediately wiped it off and thought it wasn't for me. but the next day i decided to play around with it and figured out how to make it buildable by wiping most of the liquid from the applicator and applying it very softly. it created a more natural looking rosey-brown that looked cool with my "no-makeup" makeup look. i unfortunately need to knock off a star for the way it feels after awhile. when first applied it has a slight plumping affect which i like.. but 30min later my lips felt VERY dry. i patted some lipbalm on top and revived them, but when the balm wears off the lips are back go feeling like the sahara. personally looking for a lip tint that makes it so i don't have to constantly re-apply a product
