Packaging says �  apply the Microbial Gel to cleansed face   neck and allow to absorb completely before applying moisturizer or makeup�   I�  ve been using it after essences serums but before spf moisturizer (I use innisfree�  s Daily UV Defense Invisible Broad Spectrum SPF 36 Sunscreen) and it layers perfectly!
