Click on “Add a gift message” underneath your listed basket items and follow the prompts to create your gift message. You can also opt to add a gift message at checkout, above your listed payment method, instead.
You can add a gift message for orders placed using standard shipping or Same-Day Delivery. This is not currently available for Buy Online & Pick Up orders (but will be soon!).
Yes! Your gift message will still be sent with your Same-Day Delivery order, despite some items shipping separately with standard shipping.
You can add and/or edit the gift recipient’s address at checkout, when placing your order.
At checkout, beneath “Same-Day Delivery” and “Schedule a Delivery Window,” you can input any additional instructions for couriers (such as the gift recipient’s apartment number or gate code).
Once you finalize your order by clicking “Place Order,” you’ll get a confirmation pop-up stating that the digital gift message will be sent to the gift recipient. You’ll also receive confirmation via email.
For orders placed via standard shipping, the gift recipient will receive your gift message when the order ships. For orders placed via Same-Day Delivery, they’ll receive your gift message when the order is out for delivery. For split shipments, where part of the order ships via Same-Day Delivery and the rest via standard shipping, they’ll receive your gift message when the Same-Day Delivery order is out for delivery.
Once a gift has been delivered, both the gift giver and gift recipient will receive an email confirming its arrival.

In the email you received with the subject line “A Sephora gift from ___ is on its way!”, please scroll down until you see a barcode. Present this barcode in any Sephora store along with the item(s) you wish to exchange or return, for store credit only. At this time, we are unable to process returns or exchanges by mail for any item(s) received as a gift.
