Unlike other pencils I’ve tried the dark end is not too bland aubergine but also not too red so it doesn’t make me look like I’m sickly. ...Nearly impossible to remove without something made for waterproof makeup, but that's worth it to me.

This color is very unique and is a hybrid between red and brown, kind of purple too...like aubergine! I have oily lids and almost every single liner i try transfers up on my lids (kat von d, stila, urban decay), pretty much all the longlasting liners. ...Best 'aubergine/brownish smoky berry ever--and I have many versions of this color.

Makeup staple....I got the aubergine one and really love the color. I wouldn't say it is long wearing though but it's probably because I use it on my waterline.

The aubergine makes a pretty smokey eye. Unfortunately, I've crunched the point of the pencil twice in a month. ...Intense aubergine and intense chocolate are very similar. I ran out of chocolate and Sephora didn’t have it so the SA recommended aubergine and I love that color even more!
