It does create a strong cast while drying which will feel crunchy to the touch, but this is only temporary. Once the hair is fully dry you just need to scrunch out the crunch with a little bit of oil to make your curls soft and bouncy again...I really like this curl gel over others. It smells like gummies, has a soft texture to it, and doesn’t leave hair stiff and crunchy.
