Deeper shades might be better...I noticed a difference, but expected more. I think the deeper shades probably work better, the blonde shade needs more pigment. ...My hair type is straight and my hair strands are on the thicker side. I color mine brown and Color Wow Root Cover Up in shade color Light Brown blends in greatly when I apply it on the hairline.

I like the clear because I put it over my favorite lipstick (or not so favorite) and it turns the lipstick into a better shade that compliments skin tone. The "Off The Grid" palette is very nice, the neutral colors are great for everyday wear. I like that the beige base shade is larger than the other shades since I usually run out of the base shade first....Have not tried the shimmer shades yet. May try them under the matte colors.
