It does leave slight residue to the skin but sinks into the skin easily, although for oily people I would recommend solely using this as a night cream (I have dry and use morning and night). Granted it's one of the priciest creams I've ever bought, but the proof is in the results. ...I was surprised to find that this was one of the Few Moisturizing creams that does not contain any alcohol.
