Great for texture, not that translucent...This has a great blurring effect on textured skin, but I don't find it to be super translucent -- it's pretty yellow on me. ...My favorite pressed powder! It has a mattifying texture which is perfect for summer. it does have a yellow undertone, so it may not be the best on cooler skin tones.
