Some people complained it was thick and sticky, but it wasn't really, its similar to other Morrocan Oil shampoos I've tried. The consistency wasn't an issue for me. ...i love this shampoo! it's really thick and rich and i found i didn't need a detangler to get it through my hair. i did have to use quite a bit because my hair is shoulder length, but i don't wash my hair every day so that's fine. i didn't condition afterwards because i use the leave in curl enhancing cream afterward, so my hair was a bit dry but not as bad as when i was using pantene's "moisturizing" shampoo. this is a lovely product that i will probably be using for a long time. the only issue i have is the odor. it is a very strong, musky smell, i'm surprised this isn't labeled a "men's" product because of it. i don't find the odor unpleasant but it isn't something that i want my hair to smell like.
