I just woke up and was way too excited to try it on, it’s my first Gucci/luxury brand makeup product and I love it! The color description says “rosewood” but that to me would mean more of a red mauve-y color, so I would actually describe Lorna Dune as more of a light cool-neutral peachy beige....it's a nice formula, nothing special, probably not worth the money but I mostly love it because the casing is just so luxurious and retro feeling. Janet rust is a nice shade although... sadly, because of my very yellow/warm undertones, it reads as a "true red" rather than a "brick red," but such is life. and at the very least it doesn't look horrible and fuschia on me (as most other red lipsticks do) so I can't complain.

If you’re looking for a lip stick that you can wear with no makeup, or a full face this is perfect. it’s very natural so it doesn’t look drastic if you’re not wearing any makeup. very natural nude, i love. 10/10...I normally hate mattes because they dry me out so quickly (looking at you, retro mattes) but this lipstick it’s not drying at all Since it is moisturizing you would have to sacrifice the longevity, but I am a person who would prefer to reapply rather than have it settled on my lip liner and dry my lips out more than the Sahara desert.
