Not hard and crunchy but it holds!...I like this, it holds a curl all day and into the next but isn't really hard and crunchy....Holds style...Pour some on your hands, rub them together and put it throughout your hair. Its not a strong hold so you can put it on freshly done curls and it'll hold without becoming crunchy.
