I'm really pale (MAC NC15 is almost too dark for me) so I use the left shade as an all over powder for a slight glow, the middle shade as a brightener under my eyes (I have really dark circles) and highlighter on my cheekbones and the right shade as a bronzer to add some colour. ...I don't use any base, just this.
