It doesn't sud up or become soapy, you just create a little paste and rub into your skin to your personal preference. the charcoal worked wonders on my blackheads and my pores seemed smaller after using....I have used many manual exfoliants over the years and this is a personal favorite. I have combination skin and the charcoal helps with oil and the exfoliant is gentle enough on my skin to use daily.

It also cleanses and leaves my skin so soft before I even start my skin care. This is my 6th time restocking this....I'm not a fan of the scent, but this is probably just personal preference. It smells like a lip balm I had in elementary school.

The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I would like it better if it was a foaming cleanser, but that's my personal preference. I would love to see a foaming cleanser version of this product, or a nighttime moisturizer with the same lavender properties....Part of my daily skin care routine and that'll never change because it works so perfectly for my skin.

I do wish it had a pump bottle instead of a tube but that’s nitpicking and just a personal preference. I also see this lasting a really long time since you don’t need a lot at all. ...Firstly, the cleanser does not foam up as much as I would like, though that’s really just a matter of personal preference. Secondly, it has a strong chemically smell to it which makes it difficult for me to breathe through my nose while I’m washing my face.
