I was using kvd eye brushes for the eye pods and they worked but given that these brushes were made specifically to work with the pods and knowing that they are hand made in Japan, I couldn't resist and I'm glad I couldn't. they are shockingly shirt at first but it makes sense and makes application easier but also makes them travel friendly. they are unique, I have MANY eye brushes and I can honestly say that I have never owned nor have I ever seen, brushes like this. and they perform beautifully. they pick up and put down shadows like a dream without scratching or tugging your delicate eye skin. these brushes are an investment but it's worth getting quality brushes because if you care for them properly, they will last you a lifetime!

I've been using them since I went to Japan last year. I've tried several brands from both Japan and Korea and while this one is fine, and does hydrate, it's no better than the one I picked up in the drugstore in Japan for a fraction of the price. ...You can easily tell the product was made in Japan.
